Welcome to Draft Queens Fantasy Football 2026!

We are super excited to be back for our second year of Fantasy Football! Last year was super fun and we can’t wait to kick the season off with our first annual Draft Day Brunch on August 15th. We are also adding two new members to the league: Sara and Anna (Welcome!) This will round out the league to 12 teams which will give us the option to add divisions as well as a more competitive player pool. We are happy to report that every single team from last year will be back for 2026! One change that will be implemented this season is the removal of one flex position. This will help keep a healthy list of players to draft/on the waiver wire since we are adding two teams this year. With Draft Day only a few weeks away, we wanted to share some information, reminders and things to expect.

Please arrive at Taylor’s house at 11am (address information below). Draft Day will start promptly at 11:30am with awards for the 2025 season. Stay tuned for a post on new league rules once league voting is over so you can be prepared and educated on how these changes may affect league play and your draft strategy.

Team names this year need to have a Disney theme (can be classic Disney, Disney movies, Disney channel etc.) If there are duplicates, the team member who had the higher placement last year will get priority (new league members will get last priority since they did not have placement in 2025.) Team names have to be updated in the Sleeper system by the start of the season (9/9/26).

It is important to note for those returning, and our new members, that we are not to receive or solicit any help whatsoever from our male counterparts, including children, on draft strategy. It’s an honors system but just keep in mind that we are all strong independent women who can draft players for whatever reason we see fit (he’s hot, he’s married to Taylor Swift, he’s actually good at playing football etc.) We have posted a youtube video going over draft strategy on the Draft Queens homepage and plan on sharing other helpful resources throughout the season for those of us who are a little fantasy-football-challenged.

Bagels, Donuts, and a Mimosa bar will be provided by the commissioners but we ask that everyone bring a side to share. Anyone who is traveling in from afar please contact Ashley or Taylor if any issues arise with brining food. We will work something out with you! We are expecting around 6-8 people. The draft will start at 12pm and has a hard time cap of 4pm. There will be a two-minute-timer for draft picks this year to speed up the process but if we don’t finish by 4 we pause for the day and finish on Sunday 8/16/26.
